Rating would have been 5-star if not for this faulty microphone.(Of course, perhaps I should wait to see about the quality of the replacement piece.). Should have it in 3 - 5 days. So, nil point for the quality of this earpiece I purchased through Amazon (because the mic should not fail within three months), but 5-stars for Plantronics customer service (hence my giving it a 3-star rating).Actually, I think I'll raise that to a 4-star, because I really do like the piece, love the case (which keeps the unit clean and protected), and I get all sorts of compliments on it. I've had my earpiece for about three months and the mic has suddenly cut out. I can hear the people who call me (or whom I call), but they can't hear me.That was disappointing, but I've just got off the phone with Plantronics and, after talking me through their troubleshooting steps, they're sending me a replacement piece.
I don't have to worry about the earpiece getting damaged while in my handbag. I like how this earpiece does not interfer with my sunglasses. The carrying case is a great feature.
The only thin bad about it is that it is big and hard to put back into the case. This head set is ok. The sound is cleare and the head set is pretty light.
Also, the operation of the device is slow. This product is not user friendly. On the bright side, no complaints from callers regarding reception, but I am disappointed with the comfort and usability and sorry I bought it. I push and push before it answers incoming calls, and often I have to push the send button on the phone in order to have the device pick up the call. FIrst, the ear cushions are extremely uncomfortable and often pop off the device. I have lost 2.
I returned the Plantronics for a Jawbone II which eliminates the backround noise. The person I was talking to could not hear me over the backround noise. Jawbone a much better choice for my situation. I love the look of the Plantronics 925 but found the functionality not up to the standards I would expect from Plantronics. I work at the airport and walk to my car past the tarmac.
